Hiya evry1...
does anyone know if this (or any other software) allows vision switching of dual DV inputs??

I work at a university, and we are looking to stream our lectures (not EXACTLY WHAT THIS SOFTWARE IS FOR I KNOW!!) and we need to digitise 2 DV inputs, and then vision switch between them, then DV out to a DVCAM recorder..

Any help would be fantastic..

there are 2 separate issues here, you can easily mix 2 dv signals with a vision mixer that take dv inputs.

Something like the videonics mxprodv

That way you have 2 dv inputs as well as 1 digital output for your dvcam recorder, now you can either use the dvcam as a thru, and send the signal from the dvcam recorder to a steaming server, for network broadcast, or use another of the analogue outputs as the source for the streaming.

If you still dont have a idea how to broadcast over a network then you'll have to decide on a budget, as you can have from basic solutions up to tv quality solutions such as viewpoint vbx:

or just the streaming device, this actually has the option of a mxprodv as part of the package:
