This one is intermittent and gonna be right hard to track down but:
I made a set with various audio and video effects. Saved it.
Next day I loaded the set and applying some of the audio fx stopped the audio output completely. The only way to get any output was to turn the wet/dry all the way to zero.
This happened with 3rd party vst's and the fx that come with Resolume so I guess it is nothing to do with the plugins themselves.
If I delete the effect and replace it (with a saved preset) then it will work again as expected BUT the key I have mapped to the effect bypass button does not work. I have to remap it to get it working. I think this is possibly an easily recreatable bug : Key mappings of effect presets don't work when recalled.
Another behaviour I have seen is that if a parameter of an effect is linked to BPM sync then sometimes it will be frozen once a set is loaded. Relinking the parameter will get it going again (though the settings are lost).
I'm using XP SP2, with a Delta 1010LT soundcard.
Bug with Audio FX not working.
Re: Bug with Audio FX not working.
Hmm this isn't a perfect recipe but maybe it'll help.
- Download and install these plugins:http://acoustica1.cachefly.net/other/Cl ... taller.exe
- Put them in the correct directory for Resolume
- Open Resolume load the demo patch
- Drag the Classic Flanger into the Clip Effect for clip Drum 1
-Trigger clip Drum1
- It works fine yes?
- Hit the bypass switch for the effect then save the set.
Quit Resolume and reopen it.
- Open the set
-Trigger all clips in column 1.
- navigate to the clip effect for drum1 - toggle the bypass on the classic flanger.
What happens? Here all audio stops. Anyone else seeing this.
I know that using a 3rd party vst plugin clouds the issue but I have seen similar behaviour with native plugins too (honest!) but cant recreate it yet. Anyway surely the audio on other layers shouldnt stop?!? And its odd that it works until you save/reopen it.
