I think the insides of a macbook are ugly. Some people care about the hardware inside being setup properly with big*ss loud fans more than a shiney macbook case. I think the fan noise of my machines helps me concentrate, it also lets me use my ears to monitor temps and loads (these machines are an extension of me).
