Syncing effects to BPM bug?

Post by gavspav »

If I set up an effect parameter to be linked to the BPM sync it works fine.

But if I save the set then when I reopen it the parameter value is static, ie it is no longer synced to BPM.

To recreate:

1.Open Demo patch
2.In Composition effects link the Dry/Wet of the Bitcrusher to BPM Sync.
3.Save the patch.
4.Reopen the patch.

Its not working for me here on Windows XP and its very annoying :( . Anyone else?

Thanks for the find, and especially the clear instructions! I just managed to recreate this and I'll add it to the list!

Yeah I noticed that it doesn't fail like this with all fx.

If there's a workaround let me know.

I have noticed a similar problem with the fragment effect. Select the horizon preset and BPM sync the distance. Save. Close and reopen and the BPM synched Distance parameter will remain static on the first frame. I have to go and reselect BPM sync to make it work again.
