Resolume new version > 3.2

Post by VJsynC »

Hi guys,
i was wondering if there is any estimated date for the new version of resolume with that whole suggestions made recently and bug's identified ? before August can we expect anything?
Personally i would really liked to use my new bought version of res3 during the high summer season, not only myself but as you all know the summer is the hight season for performances and gigs, and would be very very nice to use the new version, cous so far myself still using res2 because of all the nuances that make personally for me res3 impossible to use.

Thanks,
Sync.

No we do not have a date set yet. When it's done.

But what exactly is stopping you from using Resolume 3?

Decks not being listed alphabetically
http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6753
This is on our todo for 3.3 so this will be fied soon. It's not been high on our priority list because it's an annoyance for some people, not really a show stopper for most, except for you.
Interface Lag and Slowdown w/ Full Screen
http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=6554
We would love to improve this too, it's annoying for us to fix because it requires some fundamental changes and it only happens on the mac and only on slightly older computers. (including my macbook pro)
Select and edit several clips at a time

This is on our todo for 4 but not very high so it might not make the cut. Can't promise anything on this.

It isn't and if you read the whole topic you will notice that, i know that it is not, probably you should think again on this, this is a very very problematic issue.

Again, it is not on old macbooks, it happens even in new shinny macbook's, And powerful ones to, like MINE, you really should read the topics.

In this topic i am referring to the "clip proprieties" thing.

As far as I can tell, all the things you mention here again are either known issues, or have been added to the to-do list. At least one of them is addressed in the coming 3.3 update (this also happens to be your main point of concern, namely the deck listing changing order).

We look into every bug report, feature request or complaint we receive. Usually this takes time, and you cannot expect your problems to be addressed on a week's notice. As before, if you'd like personal updates on your bug reports and/or feature requests, please contact us on support[at]resolume[dot]com.

Finally we fixed the deck order bug. It was driving me mad trying to fix it.
So hopefully we can make some people happy with this, this fix will be in version 3.3.

oh, by the way, could you add to that fix, the possibility to be able to search the composition list by keypresses? like in res2 that if we where in the decks column and if we pressed a key.... for ex. the "t" he would go directly to all the decks starting with the "t" letter, these too is very important like mentioned on previous topics.

thanks people.
