hi everyone,
i really miss the active leyer function from the older versions; i cant find the way to do scratch by NOT HAVING TO MAPP THE TIMELINE OF EVERY CLIP (i want to sctratch) to my midi surface.
it has not to be that way, rigth?
some light please.
thx.
is there an easy way to do scratch?
Re: is there an easy way to do scratch?
as it so happens im also a little puzzled by this, im now with an apc40 trying to map the scratch and there is no way to map a single nob to scratch active clip\layer without mapping them all. since if there is no clip selected or a slot with no video, will not show clip properties on application midi map...
also, and i dont know if this is a software or an hardware problem, whenever i assign the knob to scratch (relative 63-65 mode is the one that works for apc40) and when try to scratch the left\in marker starts moving too whenever i turn the scratch to left

If you turn on the Layer Transport Controls in the View menu, the playhead slider found there is linked to the active layer.i cant find the way to do scratch by NOT HAVING TO MAPP THE TIMELINE OF EVERY CLIP (i want to sctratch) to my midi surface.
Giving the APC40 in relative mode a thorough rinse is also on the to-do list.also, and i dont know if this is a software or an hardware problem, whenever i assign the knob to scratch (relative 63-65 mode is the one that works for apc40) and when try to scratch the left\in marker starts moving too whenever i turn the scratch to left

yes but that would be much more intuitive if whenever you click a clip the layer would automaticly become activegoto10 wrote:If you turn on the Layer Transport Controls in the View menu, the playhead slider found there is linked to the active layer.i cant find the way to do scratch by NOT HAVING TO MAPP THE TIMELINE OF EVERY CLIP (i want to sctratch) to my midi surface.
