configure midi control more simply

Post by joffo »

hi
sorry for my english.
i think configuring midi control now is boring.
if i want to make for example the controler 23 to control velocity of one clip, i have to select midi mapping with the good clip selected. after that if i want to affect another controller with another clip. i have to unselect midi mapping select the new clip et select midi mapping. i think is not a good way.
what do you think about that ?
regard.

that's not quite right. You just select activate Midi-Mapping once and then select one parameter after another and assign the Button/Fader/and so on. After you're done stop Midi-Mapping inside Resolume and you should be good to go.

I think what Joffo means is that when you want to midi map the properties of *another* clip, you need to exit mapping mode, select the other clip, and enter mapping mode again. We have some changes in this area in the 3.3 release. Hopefully they will solve the issue!

Hi thank you for your answers. I happy to see that i'm not the one who is embarassed by the midi mapping.
I hope i'll be ameliorated in the futurs versions.
I'd like too know too why when i want to scroll on my layers i need to be on the left part on the screen with my mouse.
the impossibility of rezise each part of the screen make very slow and difficult the way of working.
For example when i add some layer (more than 6) the preview windows is so reduced that i can't use there.
and i can't still see the top of the colomn when i work with the layers in the bottom. the scroller are hard to manipulate because the vertical is not visible when i'm on the begining of my colomn and the horizontal is not visible when i'm on the top of the colomn. I think you can enhance this system.
Regard.
