the paths to the files in a deck are absolute.
that means that you can move the deck file itself around to wherever you want but not the files that are referred to.

a file is stored at c:1.avi
if you move it to another drive the path will become invalid.

Thanks for reply
i understand Edwin...

Is there a way in the future for this to be addresed..?
it has coused me some problems, eg: plugging my external harddrive into another system...

Something on te lines of an after effects project were it asks you for te new path/folder to the source material..if it can not find it or it has been moved

by testing the tryout version 1.5.1 the prog looses information of the saved decks after restarting the programm. you can only see the thumbsnails, not the clips itself. i have to import the files again. after saving the deck, closing and restarting the prog, other clips are not evaluable.
this is very awful for preparing live events.
it does not work.
if someone has the same problems or solutions, please anwser ...
resolume feedback is not anwsering yet.

we hope that with the nexty version those problems will be taken care of.
In version 2.0 you will have a deck manager and a number of 8 possible decks directly accesible.

moving decks is not such a problem but moving the files that are adressed to in a deck is.
if you move a file the deck doesn't know where its is but will show a thumbnail because that is stored in the deck itself together with all the params and settings of your clips and effects.

cheers
