FX bypass and clear too close together?

Post by Rene »

Hello!

From time to time I (accidentally) remove VFX instead bypassing them (by pressing the "X" button instead the "B" because they are so close). Maybe it's possible to switch "B" with "preset"? Or any other solution to prevent unintentional removal of FX?

Yeah it's easy to accidentally hit X instead of B. Esthetically I do not like it so much to separate the two buttons with the presets drop-down but we should probably choose practicality over esthetics in this case. We'll seriously consider this. Thanks for the GUI mockup too, we always love this :-)

Literally I can see the esthetic issue!

Maybe some kind of "lock" function or gray-out instead? (yes, grey-out the grey :D) And if you press the ALT key the X button is unlocked/un-greyed and can be clicked. (I can already see the little padlock icon at the X button...)
