So have been able to map just about everything on the iPad, pretty damn well I might add. The issue I have ran into is getting the BPM Tap to work. It seems not matter what value I enter I get a 500bpm, even if I tap slow on TouchOSC it comes up as 500.
I read this post http://www.resolume.com/forum/viewtopic ... =20#p20870 and don't quite get the conversion given everything just pops up as 500 when I tap. I set the values as "0" and max value to ".001" and it still jumps to 500. I was able to make a fader that controls the speed pretty well by setting the values as ".23" and ".27" on it, fits the genres I work with well. I would rather have a tap function though. Anyone have some insight as to what I am doing wrong?
I work with beats from 118 to 138 most of the time so this is the range I want the tempo to detect in. Any insight into this would be awesome.
Thank you!

Re: OSC & BPM Tap is killing me.
this is related to the way TouchOSC sends the values.
it just can't send one for button down and none for button release.
so what it does is send a value on "down" and! on "release".
that is why you're faced with a BPM of 500.
that mentioned the only way you can work the tap-button from
within TouchOSC would be to push the button on 1,
release it on 2, push it on 3 and release it on 4.
Another way is usin something like OSCulator or MAX in between.

Re: OSC & BPM Tap is killing me.
Thank you for the help.
Turns out if you use a "toggle" instead of a "push" button it works fine for tapping the beat. What a simple solution.
Thank you again! If wanted I will share the iPad layout when its done.
