delete channel content

how can i delete the content of a channel, without leaving the deck itsself?
now i use a trick with a black video to override a channel.
same with pictures ...

i miss the delete button in the submenÃ¼

alt + [channel shotcut] to clear channel
alt + [layer shortcut] to clear layer
