VJ Rates: How Do You Charge A Client?

Post by fenniless »

Do you base it on an hourly rate? how long your going to be making visuals for?

Should i charge more for the more amount of equipment i need to provide myself?

Flat rate for the gig?

What if i get free drinks from the bar while im there? do i knock off 10%?

What about custom content? hourly? per loop? based on how technical the graphics are?

i just want to see some opinions, not exact numbers, how do i charge someone for have tons of fun making art?
