Midi mapping - Save incomplete

A.
I'm using a BCF2000. When I map some faders to Layer Video opacity...save komposition...reload komposition...everything is fine. But when I map one fader to the komposition master opacity....save & reload the kompositon.... the saved mapping is lost.


B.
A/AV/V Faderpositions of some Layers are not saveable.
In my case layer 2 and 5 never remember their postion...after reloading the kompositon.

Hey guys

Thanks for letting us know. I can recreate issue A (master opacity) when in Composition Midi map mode. I'll make a ticket for it. Perhaps for now you can use Application Midi map mode?

I can't recreate issue B (faders not remembering position) however, not with the midi controllers we have in the office anyway. Can either of you confirm it is specifically BCF2000 related (ie that it works when changing fader positions with the mouse or another midi controller, while the BCF2000 is not connected)?

Hi Joris,

I figured it out and can say that that this happens with any midi or OSC controller. I tried it with a KP3 in midi mode, BCF2000, BCR2000 and with a Lemur sending OSC Message.

As I worte, the saving problem is not with every Layer... only some of them have this behaviour.
My testkompositon has 10 Layers... some values are saveble some not.

Thanks for that. It looks like layer opacities set to 0% reset themselves to 0.33% on restart, doesn't seem to be related to midi. Thanks again for the find, I'll make a ticket.

Application MIDI mapping isn't working correctly as we have been discussing in another thread.

I'm having issues saving the mappings for most things that I'm mapping. Is there anything specific that you would like me to test?

If you have any issues, it would be great if you could provide us with clear steps on how to recreate them. For instance:
1. create a new comp
2. create 10 layers
3. enter Composition Map mode
etc etc

Also, it's probably best to do so via the support mail address.
