New Machine P67 B3stepping MSI Marshal

Post by fruitygreen »

Taking a leap here with this setup.

Motherboard: MSI Bigbang Marshal (features; P67 B3 steppping, 8 PCI-E slots, Gen2 i7 2600k unlocked)
Graphics Card : EVGA GTX590 Hydro Copper(features; Multi-GPU, watercooled, overclocking capable)
Video Capture: Black Magic Design ; Intesity Pros and Shuttles

all other components would be impertinent to list.

I already have these components installed but not yet running.

What I am seeking is any tips or advices to make the best of this setup.
People with actual experience, and not theories, please. I have read alot about theories on various BMD forums

#1 Q: Will the the Intensity Pro work with P67 B3 motherboard?
Haven't found a comment yet confirming it will work with P67 B3.

#2 Q: Will my card (GTX590 Multi-gpu) be able to enhance the performance of Resolume Avenue?
Searched this forum but not yet successful.

multi gpu is not supported (till now, don't know if or when it will)

blackmagic card should run on every mainboard so far i think, don't think there'll be a problem!

Yes , I think it was the Intensity Shuttle with the issues on P67. Wanted confirmation on P67 B3.

Thanks
