iPad + AirDisplay(For DIsplay2) = CRASH

I use MacBookPro 2.4 Ghz intel Core i5 4 GB DDR3
APC40 controller
Today i tried to use my iPad as and additional monitor using the app "AIR DISPLAY" with AD active and running properly Resolume will nor open and generates a crash report every time i attempt to open resolume3. even with res running if i attempt to add the iPad through the launch app resolume crashes. I know the immediate answer " dont use the ipad with AirDisplay so i wont but dose any one know a fix for this or other option to use the iPad as an aditional monitor to view my output going to the projectors on. as it is I am sending mini DVI to a VGA 4x hub and feeding two projectors and plasma dysplays.

same thing with IDisplay...
also at least the new AirDisplay release uses OpenGL (anyhow)
i think the mainproblem is the stream via wifi, which won't be that smooth than a cable connection.
nevertheless it would be great to use it as preview screen!
