I notice that Arena and Avenue for OS X are 448MB, whereas for Win 7 they are 148MB.
Not a problem as far as installing goes, but was wondering about the very significant discrepancy in size.
Why is the Mac OS X package so much bigger than Windows 7?

It has todo with the fact that we had to use the CinePak codec on Windows for now and that codec makes the footage files much smaller (quality is bad though). We found a workaround and the final Windows installer will also include DXV files and thus be more or less the same size.

Can I copy the DXV files from the Mac package to Windows, and use those?
