Is there a way to move saved decks and clips onto another hard drive (external) and then still get them to work???

I'm doing a Big gig next friday but will only be taking my external, because theres a sorted computer in the club for me already... I have a desk top, so don't realy want to travel with it...

Thats possible only if you keep the same folder structure as on the disk where you created the decks. With other words it only worked when i had a folder on the rout of the disk, in that folder i had more folders for clips and one for decks. I copied the whole folder to an external hd and all decks worked.

Hey Morris, i tought that you explained that once or was that for 1.51 i dont know if this applyes to 2.0

Hi Luka,
Thanks, yes I did have some questions on that already... I'm probably doing a gig in St Petersburg Mosco, taking my External only ... and my wakom of course, . just needed to be reminded. One thing, Does the drive letter need to be the same? As in g: has to read g: on the other system?

Hey Luka, I'll drop you a mail soon...

the drive letter doesent mattaer in my case the original is diferent to my external and all is fine. Actualy i didnt try this on a nother compuer jet but only on the same one, but i guess since the dck files were all on the disk with the avis and there was no action on my internal disc while playing it shuld work on diferent computers also. No wories with transporting your whole workstation to Russia, but dont take my word for it and test it all. Also maybe wise to have a folder with your resolume exe fretrame plugins and a fresh version of direct x also if you work with mjpeg, a great codec but not native to windows you shuld have an instaler for that just in case i think microsoft video 1 codec comes with windows, cinepack does for shure.
