recording on/off with midi controler

I have downloaded the lastest version of resolume and i discover a new fonction with midi controler. I work with some musicans : we have a show and we are connected in midi.
the pianist work with a computer and he would like to record himself wiht a midi notes.

We try but when I want to but the samples on the screen it's become black or the program close.
I have resolume 1.4 on my computer and
I would like to buy Resolume 2 for this kind of application.

i,ve just tried andactivating the recorder with midi is no problem ... does the record function work when you just click the button? note that resolume records these files to your harddrive so maybee your disk is full?
