Hey guys,
Just wondering if it is at all possible to move the decks around as if they were tabs... I like to have each deck correlate to each live track that we play and to have them in order from left to right.
Thanks!

Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
im not sure if you can do this on the fly but you will be able to open them in order. does your set change frequently?

Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
I don't need to do it on the fly, but I do change things around for each set. So, for example, it'd be great to move the 5th deck so that it is the 2nd deck...
Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
I do see what you mean. on start up, say you opened a new comp then loaded decks in order of how you wanted them? Thats one way i could think of
I'll be interested to see what Joris and the rest of the guys say.

Thanks, Basic, for the reply
Hmm I could do a new composition, but I've done a bunch of work to each clip in each deck and I'd rather not have to start fresh each time... though honestly I'm just being lazy
But it'd be nice if there was a workaround.
Thanks!!

Thanks!!

Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
I think what Basic is trying to say, is that you can load previously created decks from other comps into a new comp:
Having said that, changing the order of the tabs by dragging is far more intuitive, and actually on our to-do list

Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
Yes that was what i was trying to say... I don't have a particular way with words

Resolume Avenue 3.3.3 - MBP i7, 8gb RAM - Snow Leopard (2010). Akai APC20
Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
That was by 2012. We are almost on 2015. Any news on this, please?Joris wrote:...changing the order of the tabs by dragging is far more intuitive, and actually on our to-do list
thanks
Re: Resolume 4 - Moving Decks?
No news, Pfelberg.
As you can imagine, we have a insanely long list of user requests and great suggestions. Currently we have around 500 features and improvements we could do, just for Res 4. Let's say it takes 4 days to implement and test each one ( which is a ridiculously low estimate, btw ). This would mean we wouldn't be able to get started on Res 5 until the middle of 2019.
So we have to focus our priorities. We try to put our attention on things that are show critical or game changing. Not being able to change deck order is annoying, but it's not impossible to run a show without it. So it's being passed in favour of other ideas and improvements.
