Problems with FancyType 2

Hey just bought the FancyType 2 from the store and having a ton of problems with it.

1. When you type in the text, you have to click off of the clip it and then click back on the clip for it to refresh. (this goes with the parameters as well).

2. Anything longer than a single line gets completely cut. For example "Happy Birthday Rob" showed up as "ppy Birthd"

3. Some of the parameters do very funky things and are erratic.

The old trigger text was wonderful for quick and easy messages. Just trying to get that same consistency with these new packs. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

I could just be User Error too.

Do all the effects have this issue?
Do you have the latest flash player installed?
Which parameters are erratic?
