external disks do not figure in file browser - feature?

Post by terrabite »

I noticed that the file browser doesn't list external drives - it doesn't lists aliases pointing to libraries on external devices either. I'm wondering if that's on purpose or if there's a work around.
There are mighty fast disks around and I think the user should test and judge for himself if the playback speed is up to expectation, no? I have an eSata card on my laptop and I think any drive behind that card might perform acceptably fast.

The file browser *should* list external devices. If the device was connected after Resolume was started, you might need to navigate to the /Volumes directory (one up from the MacIntosh HD directory). If that doesn't work for you, please contact us at mail@resolume.com
