TV Switcher need advise

I am looking to get a Switcher for Live Streams and other events, i was wondering what there is just software based for doing that task. I know of vMix and Newtek TriCaster Products, anyone has any other solutions, I am looking for both software only and software and hardware, or maybe something with a combination of blackmagic equipment...

What about the ATEM production switchers from Blackmagic?
