Hi Joris,
I understand what you're saying.
I am also have issues with videos playing backwards even though I never use a DMX shortcut to send the backwards playback mode.
I do have the option to send the backwards command in the console but do not use it and it is not programmed in the cue list ...

Hide BPM counter
Hi Guys,
Is it possible to hide the BPM counter? I can't seem to work out how. I'm not using it at all and it would give me that little bit of extra screen realestate that I need..
Thanks,
Chris

SMPTE framerate vs content Framerate
Hi Guys,
Just trying to solve another problem in the show and wondering the following:
How does SMPTE framerate relate to content framerate?
My content is 50fps and I can't do SMPTE control at that FPS... is it best to use 25fps as its a multiple? How does Resolume deal with content playback ...

Re: Clip speed setting itself at 0
Great thanks, I'll look into this.
Is there a way to use BPM speed and retain the original clip duration? How does it work? or does it try and fit the clip length to the overall BPM? How does the maths work for this?
It also seems to be happening with clip position.. when clips start sometimes the ...

Clip speed setting itself at 0
Hi Guys,
I'm running a theatre show with some projection and am using Resolume 6 with DMX control.
I'm having an issue where clips will set themselves to a speed of 0 meaning the clip won't play.
No where in the programming or clips am I setting this or asking it to do this.. just wondering if ...

Re: DMX Control seems to read change rather than state
FYI one thing I've seen implemented in other software is being able to set an interval to poll the DMX state if constantly reading it destroys performance stability.
There are so many great things about this software! It would literally be the knees of bees if it could be controlled by DMX in this ...

Re: DMX Control seems to read change rather than state
Hi Guys,
Thanks for the reply. Yes I understand the 'bruce force' of continuous data isn't very elegant but unfortunately thats how DMX works and all DMX devices I know of work this way.. I do wonder if a protocol other than ArtNet.. such as Streaming ACN (sACN) might be more efficient with this ...

DMX Control seems to read change rather than state
Hi Guys,
I'm trying to use Resolume as a DMX controlled media server and am having an issue with the way I think its reading DMX.
This problem is this:
When I load the lx console show and go to the beginning of my cue list, all the DMX values should be at their home/default position, for example ...

Re: Next Column Trigger
Hi goto10,
Yes, Ive seen this thread, I thought their might be an option without having to run another piece of software which is less than desirable for me.
It's that same thing of us using it as a high quality media server vs a VJ system. I'm sure the features will come though
Thanks though!

Next Column Trigger
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if there's a way to trigger two clips on separate layers at the same time. I've separated sound out of a video and have a bunch of instances of this and want to be able to hit a button to trigger one after the other. It happens about 80 times in a show so I can't do it for ...
