Hi
Has anybody out there figured out how to use full Hercules 4-mx 'scratch' functionality in Resolume?
Meaning, when I press down on the platter, video pauses and 'scratching' begins. Moving the platter while it's pressed scrubs the video playhead. Releasing the platter unpauses the video and ...

live editable text
Hi
What is the best way to get editable text to display inside Resolume? Maybe as a 'source' with a simple text field and font chooser? It's very frustrating to not have this capability. Are there Flash SWFs that allow for text input and will render OK inside Resolume? Could someone please give ...

WIN 7 - Routing MIDI from Traktor to Avenue 4.1.4
Do you know how to pass MIDI through Traktor 2 to Resolume Ave 4.1.4? So mappings can be made inside both apps to the same physical controls?? Not the clock, but rather the controller data?

Re: Resolume slows to a crawl when outputting to two video c
Sounds like a tech nightmare to me. I choose to emphasize the VJ performance (finding harmonious colors, timing events to music, speed ramping, "scratching") rather than relying on more and more tech. Plus, each projector warms and brightens the venue. Can't wait until we have huge, bright LEDs and ...

Re: Resolume 4 and Live 8 - sharing MIDI
BTW I can find no useful info when searching for live stuff. How do I even phrase the problem? "Live midi remote update rate"? I don't really understand where the problem lies. The latency exists when Resolume and Live and both running, but does not exist when it's only Resolume. The signal should ...

Re: FPS drops with every new screen added
My understanding is that this is just "how it works". For example, my Alienware laptop might run a comp at 50fps with one projector, but two projectors = 24 fps. I sometimes use two different outputs, and sometimes one output that gets split w/ an hdmi splitter. With the latter approach, you are ...

Re: What is the best practice for DXV
yes. i have an "edit bay" saved in AE where i do all my clips. they all end up at 720p DXV, varying frame rates. i have not found a better (and more valuable) tool in the last two years of VJing.
