I've been a VJ / artist / musician for a long while, but am fairly new to Resolume.

I know how to use the audio input for audio rectivity ( works very well )

Last night I got the idea to record my hardware synth jam in Resolume... I was just using my Macbook built in camera and my audio interface ...

That sounds like an interesting band! Do you have video links?

Also a musician, I am using Roland's Octa Capture which runs nicely. ( There is a Quad and Duo for smaller set ups. )

I'd very much appreciate that. We're always open to suggestions on how to improve the audio side of Resolume. Keeping threads organized allows us to keep an eye on things ;-)

btw - is there a way to set the default interpretation of a new video?
There isn't, but clips with an audio track, even an empty one, will default to BPM sync.

is there a good way to get the timing grid to be a perfect multiple ...

I did buy Resolume and used it at the film fest yesterday to VJ my entry live ;-)
They loved it! I was VERY pleased with the efficiency of the software,
unlike most video apps I run, no overheating laptop at all.
Used DXV codec as suggested ...
