i use exactly same laptop spec. all my stuff is also in cinepac avi. my projector is 800x600 so all clips either that or 400x300. anything else tends to give pixellation due to scaling %ages. i tend to run output res and process at 400x300. works great.

To be honest, I have everything on one Laptop on one drive. Two things I found, external USB HDD, Reso 1.5 used to "lose contact" with it and link to wrong files, never tried it again so i don't know if 2.0 and onwards better. BEst upgrade I did was to change out standard HDD in lappie for a 7200rpm ...

2.2 - NIce work
2.2 Appears to run much better, still same problem with the 2 AVI Cinepac's i sent Bart, however i've now narrowed it down that AVI's cinepac created with Sony's Vegas are the ones that DON'T run / crash Reso (still the same with 2.2 on laptop). If you convert them using VirtualDub they run OK ...
