it already does this, you even have different ways of doing it. look at the "clip target" option.

Does this mean I'll have to change the "clip target" to "active layer" on each clip separately? I guess the best option would be to add an option to do this ...

Limitations in clips placement
I searched the forum and didn't find this issue mentioned anywhere, so I want to know this:
Is it possible in Resolume 3, for example, to add clips from the lowest row into layer 2 (instead just in layer 1, like it is now)? I'm talking about this:
