Couldn't find a subject for this particular capture card. I recently got the SDI recorder for PC. Im taking a fiber HDSDI from video IMAG world, and want to run it thru Resolume to blend content in with it. (Have it on 50 opacity or cool overlays and blend it with the content I run)

Thunderbolt 3 is backward compatible with TB and TB2 so yes the adapter you're considering should work as well as the capture card.
I just connected the new adapter and it is still not catching. The capture device doesn't have the light on so it looks like it is not catching the device.
