I noticed that in V6 the speed control has shifted its "normal" point to way down the scale.
To play a clip at nominal speed the slider has to sit on (midi val) 13 out of 127???
So to slow down a clip i have only 13 steps without having to use double controllers etc.
Is it possible to set the ...

Re: Buffering input commands can't keep up
Thats right.
I disabled the internal graphics. Work screen and 1 beamer are both on GTX.
I noticed also that on a previous production it showed like 60fps.
This seems somewhat slow?
Grts & thnx

Re: Buffering input commands can't keep up
1) Version: 5.1.14 (the latest)
2) 3 layers of 30 stills each (1000x1000px, uncompressed PNG) comp = 1024x768 (nothing too big...)
Just a bit of layer scaling. The output shows approx. 30fps.
3) OSC: We send "/layerX/clipX/connect 1" messages. If we send these fatser then 5 psec it starts to backup ...

Buffering input commands can't keep up
We noticed that when we rapidfire diffent stills on a single deck that resolume can't keep up if the frequency is less than 250ms. When triggering through OSC we send a series of triggers (like a drumriff). But when we stop sending them Resolume keeps finishing all the commands still in buffer. And ...

FX: Spin - newspaper style
I'd like to create an oldfashioned spin effect for clips.
It could be simple: speed from -100 <0> +100.
The video then spins like the old newpaper headline style effect.
The rotate effects which are currently available don't do it...?

Transition time setting
I'd like the ability to set the transition time numerically.
Right now there is a slider but i can't see anywhere how long the resulting transition lasts.
The slider goes from 1-10 seconds. I'd like to set them more precisely...

Frame accurate in and outpoint editing of clips
I'd really like to have the ability to select portions of clips from longer videos by being able to edit the in and out points frame per frame.
Best would be to be able to type an offset directly.
Right now the slider doesnt work well with long(er) clips.
