It looks like the driver has 2 outputs. 340/2 = 170, the amount of RGB pixels you can map without rolling over to the next DMX universe. I can only assume they didn't want to deal with a pixel spanning two universes?

Re: Audio input option missing
For the external Audio FFT input? You need to first select an input device from the top right "Audio Input Device" just under the refresh button.
If its not that, a version number and OS may help.

Re: Rework Lumiverses /Fixture Handling/ Advanced Ouput Improvements
If you have a fixture spanning across multiple universes, how do you expect the channels to be split? eg what if the Red and Green channels for the last fixture pixel still fit on the first universe but the Blue channel doesnt. Does this entire pixel move over to the new universe (and thus leave 2 ...

Re: Previewing FX
You can kind of do that, if you are running only one layer. It appears that double-clicking an effect will show it in the preview window applied to the comp (at least that's what mine is doing now).

Ping-Pong / Bounce option for parameters animated by FFT
Currently when a parameter is animated by FFT you currently have 4 options: Forwards, backwards, increasing or decreasing. Occasionally I've found myself thinking it would be nice if when choosing +/- , you could also choose what to do at the end of the parameter, either loop or pingpong.

Re: Thumbnail Background
You can manually create a thumbnail then update it.
In Resolume -> Right Click the clip -> Thumbnail -> Load from file.
I'm lazy so I might do it all in Resolume. Throw a colored background on the clip. Right Click the clip -> Thumbnail -> Update. Then remove the background and call it a day.

Re: Conceptual - not sure how to approach this
Here is how I have done this in the past, when we had no money, and were trying to use existing equipment.
The band I was working with luckily had a backing/click track running in Ableton for their songs. We added another silent track to each song that contained the midi notes we wanted to send to ...

Not CVH's, haven't tried his yet. Doc Optics Resgen set would be an example as one that kills it.
