I am running into the same problem. When I am outputting NDI resolume becomes unresponsive pretty much. clicking buttons on the host is nearly impossible. as soon as I close the clients resolume, the host is running smooth again. (from mac to windows, tried 2 different client PCs ...

Still hoping this would come one day. I need this so bad. Every other month I get a stage design in vector from a deco artist (not a VJ) and I need to recreate very complex shapes in resolume which every time feels like a waste of time.

They are already helpful, but why can I not attach them to a specific slice, like I can do with the input masks?
At the moment One Output mask masks all the Slicess below. That sometimes really creates Headache. Bc sometimes I want to 'Make space' for a layer below the mask, but either if I invert ...

Would really love this feature aswell.

There are cases where I want to use a PNG as a mask as the object has a lot of complex details which would take hours to map with slices but can be done in minutes using the PNG of the stage I have.

I dont want to use a mask layer for this as I already have another mask layer with different clips ...

I have bought this plugin. It sadly misses the option to invert. Thus if I want to add a quick soft mask in the center to not blind the DJ from the projector this is still not a usable option...

So the investigation on feathering slices started with res. v5 back in 2009. How is that coming along? I would really like to have this feature which surprisingly is still missing now in 2024. 15 years later...
