Superb! That has just made my life infinitely easier... I'm still trying to get my head around the various permutations of hardware/graphics cards.
So if I'm working at 1920x1080 x2 (wide), do I make the composition slightly smaller than 2x 1920 wide and then create 2 slices of 1920 wide, which ...

Soft Edging in Arena with Double or TripleHead2Go?
Hi guys,
As far as I can tell, the Matrox DoubleHead2Go and TripleHead2Go units make multiple outputs appear as a single output to the computer.
Does this mean that it's not possible to use the soft edging feature of Arena with these addon units, because there is only one output as far as Arena is ...

One or 2 Computers Running Resolume?
Hi guys,
I am looking to create a system which will allow me to mix several layers of full HD (1080p - 1920x1080) footage and images, along with 4 incoming live camera feeds, and output them to 4 separate 1920x1080 outputs (4 slices on one huge comp).
I am undecided as to whether this would be ...

Re: Can Arena do this? Masked layers stacked on top of slice
I think I've had a eureka moment...
I can mask and resize/reposition clips (including inputs) as I wish, over a composition of 3540x1080. Then set up the slices over the WHOLE comp - all layers.
So yes, I think I can do what I want
Final question - can I use gradient PNG masks in Resolume ...

Can Arena do this? Masked layers stacked on top of slices?
Hi everyone,
I am developing a new live music/theatre/dance/multimedia show, and found Resolume Arena after becoming fed up with people telling me to "use Catalyst/Hippotizer" etc.
Looking at the requirements for the media server for the cyclorama, I have established that I will be projecting onto ...
