I use 640x480 movs encoded with mjpeg, this works fine for me. Just make sure you have quicktime on your pc and you can use your clips on mac and pc.

I used to use the top row of encoders as clip triggers with the bcr2000. Because you can assign four functions to the push setting of the top row I would have the first five push encoders for clips 1-5, then select function 2 for 6- 10, function 3 for 11-15, function 4 for 16-20. Cant remember if theres note compatability, if theres no note option when going through the setup steps of how the rotary behaves then Id say no.

U can assign the rotaries when you push them to a note control, pres edit push the rotary and go through the setup steps above but choose the note option.

I dont have the bcr2000 anymore so its a bit difficult to give advice on this as Im now working with the vmxvj contoller.
