Thanks anyway Oaktown. I did figure it out, sort of. There was still a lot of trial and error involved and a small part of my composition sides were cut off. So next time I will use your advise and try to do it properly.

AAaaaah I figured it out! The answer was in the input mapping. Of course
I followed the soft edge tutorial video, but I had to still adjust the inputs to match the different screen ratio.

I did get it to work I thought with switchresx, but somehow it seemed instable. Not sure what went wrong yet I have to do more tests.

Apparently I had scrolled upwards in my layered composition and didn't see layer 1 being lit green in the OSC mapping mode, and clicking the other sliders doesn't show you anything.

Nice! That's a better alternative I think. I found mpegstreamclip performed a bit dodgy.
