i've been searching a bit about this topic, and i get clear that "now" we only have a Stereo out.
But it's on the Roadmap of new features or enhancements to add the option to route Layers/Clips to specific Audio outs if we use a multi-out Sound Card (like Audient iD 44 or similar?).
This couldn't be more useful for live events techs like myself.
I NEED multi-track audio output from video or audio files I'm handed on site.
Be it a few times a year working at cinema festivals being asked to play 5.1 or multi track videos Or in live events with LTC outputs or click tracks encrusted into a video render, or just generally routing certain videos to certain outputs as part of a show.
Don't get what's to drag the heals over?
codec issue?
Who knows, not seen a definitive answer after a search but just seems like it has been seriously an under-valued as a feature that it's not been fixed a long time ago.
It's on the list. It's been requested a few times (By myself as well). It's the biggest feature I feel is currently missing as well. There are many times I have to use Qlab because I need to send out 3-5 audio tracks. I know it's on the roadmap, I just don't think we have an eta yet. Get some more people to come and vote so we can make this happen

Like for real, all i need to do is have the audio im pumping in through my input to go out over HDMI so everything syncs up nice and is still @ good quality. Like, how can I only pull input for FFT and not be able to pipe that to the output with the video.
