Midi Footswitch

Post by MrSpit »

Hi !

Finally I found Resolume, it did everything I want.
One exception, I can manage to make my BOSS-FC50 doing anything. Probably because the Program Change Midi Message is not supported.

So it's ok, but did somebody can give me good reference footswitch that can send notes to Resolume ?
I need to control the software on foot because I'm using my hands to play music during gig :D

Any MIDI foot controller should work just fine.

Hmm, a third party program, like Bomes, could translate the program change to Note or CC.
If you're into programing, you could build one yourself using Processing quite easily.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

Thanks. I will try Bome
I saw a very cool footswitch that can manage Notes, the Nektar Pacer.
But it seems too big for my set-up

Hi !

Juste want to thank you. Bome's did the job to translate Program Change to Note Change.
I use Loopmidi to have a virtual midi interface to Resolume.

To push further I use Chataigne to keep organized my setup. Great Software :

It makes just a midi to osc interface for me but you can do much more.
