layer 2 stops responding

Post by corunography »

Operating System: Windows XP SP2
Processor: Core 2 Duo 6800 (2.93ghz)
Videocard: Quadro FX 3450
File type: .AVI
Codec: Matrox Codec from the Matrox x.100 720x480

Hello,

I've had this happen to me several times now, every so often. Layer 2 will stop displaying clips. A clip will load in layer 2, but it is not displayed on the screen. This is with opacity at 100%.

Not sure what the deal is there.

I have the same problem, don’t know what’s going on. Start happening after short period of playing and only solution is to restart Resolume. Which is not good idea in the middle of the night. I use Resolume 2.3 Please help

This may be simple however, when first playing around with the program, I too had this happen. only to realize that their is an on/off button on the left side of the layer that disables and enbles that layer from being seen. this is different from close button next to that removes the clip from the layer. perhaps you accidentally pressed that button. :-) hope this helps.

Unfortunately not, I use the layer disable function all the time and know that sometimes out of the blue, layers stop working.
Have not been able to put my finger on an exact pattern or process to replicate the fault either.

When a layer ‘dies’ clips will not play back on that particular layer whatsoever – a program restart is the only fix.

I have simmilar problem and i belive that there are two possible answers: 1) the clips might be corrupted or 2) the resolume has some bugg somewhere.
