Can anyone explain me how the "set shift, ctlr, alt state" functions in the midi mapping section works and what they exactly do?
I just don't get it...
thanks

midi mapping - set shift, ctlr, alt state
Those are replacements fot the same buttons on your keyboard,
If you for example hold down the alt key while dragging a effect to a channel, the intensity slider of the effect will be put on zero instead of 100%.
Or when te alt button is down and pressing on a channel you will remove it instead of activate it.
Look into the manual for more functions.

Thanks for your reply, that sounds very logical to me.
In fact this function of defining the alt, ctrl, and shift keys on my midi-controller does not work in my setup. My midi-controller works fine but the definition of these keys don't. Maybe I'm missing something... have you tried to use this function on your machine?
