problem with loading avi files

hello, good job i love this software (i mean 2.4)
and i wanted to download the new version..
i download the avenue version and i had problem with avi files.
i just cant load them i dont why.
i mean i am pressing on them double click and its not working.
i tried to drag them and its doesnt work too.
i tried on another computer and guess what ?
well its not working too..

in version 2.4 its worked well..

by the way all of this videos works good on resolume 2.4.

Hi Arikz,
Your .avi file is an XVID file, really not the format you should be using for vjing.
Here it loads fine though, so make sure you have the proper codec installed.
Consider converting your files to mjpeg or our DVX codec.

A problem I've seen a lot of is when right codecs are installed, but the splitter is wrong. (The splitter is the driver that handles reading the file, separating audio & video tracks, and sending them to the decoder.)
