DXV samples don't play smoothly.

Yes you're right, I just wrote a wrong file extension... Anyway, no DXV codec available for Quicktime rendering in other softwares except Premiere... is the codec not installed correctly maybe ?
I forgot to mention I'm working under Win7... could it be a problem?

I too use Premier CS4 & Adobe Media Encoder and found that when rendering to Quicktime DVX codec there is always a small stutter/jumpback at the end (and only the end) of each conversion. This is problemsome when looping in reverse in Resolume, it makes your loops stutter x2, once at the end and then immediately after on the reversal of the clip which looks very bad.
THE FIX!?!? DONT USE ADOBE PREMIER OR ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER!!!
Render your clips to MPEG2 .mv2 and then import them into "MPEG Streamclip" and do your DVX conversions there. Yes, it sucks because you have to do them individually as opposed to being able to batch them in AME.
BUT IT WORKS>! =)

why not export from Premiere in a un-compressed format, and then use any other compression prog that supports quicktime, this way you will have a better image quality because your not "trans-coding" ?

You can batch in MPEG Streamclip, at least in version 1.2 you can. Look under 'List'.
