Possible to set webcam resolution to other than 640x480?

Post by teens4christgirl »

I have a few microsoft lifecams that I'm trying to use in resolume 3.2

1 vx6000
one vx1000
and one hd6000

The hd 6000 and the vx6000 work ok, but I can't get them to capture as anything other than 640x480. If I try the settings on the clip I can change sharpness \ exposure \ etc, but there are no properties for resolution.

The vx1000 is a black screen, despite all three working ok in other applications.

Any assistance greatly appreciated!

I don't have a USB camera to compare, but a PAL signal via a firewire camera source gives a 768 x 576 resolution, as expected. So, a capture device doesn't appear to be limited to 640 x 480 in Resolume.
