greetings everyone!
i have a problem when using the video overlay function with resolume!
if theater mode for my RADEON card is enabled and the DVDmax option is turned on in resolume, i can see the previewindow fullscreen. but when i turn a layer's alpha to 100%, i get black flickering lines across the picture!
anyone experienced something like that so far? how can i solve that problem?
regards,

black lines with DVD MAX & ATI
hi!!!
I`m also a victim of the black flickering bars!(using ati radeon)
But......
there`s an ok solution to get rid of these horizontal "dancers".
_first you should enable all three layers of resolume!
_the next thing is, that the value of opacity and speed shouldn`t be 100 percent, or 0 percent.
for example:
if you use 98 percent opacity instead of 100 percent, or 2 percent speed instead of 0 percent, your flickering bars will appear!
(adujust this on all three layers)
good luck

Your problem could actually be the video-out from your card. Most TV-out chip used on cards can use cheap and nasty parts. There is a big difference in general TVout quality between cheap asian companies and more expensive brands, such as ATI originals.
The only really way to get rid of lines is the investment in a good scanconverter to take advantage of the 2nd VGA port on you computer.
