Now I tested 12.9 Beta with the 7970M inside an Alien M18x R2

Same problem here with HD6870 with driver 12.8.

Seams to be fixed by BETA drivers 12.9

first of all sorry for the late answer.

I am running an AMD Radeon HD 6700M Series.

I just installed the 12.9 beta driver and a first few test didn't show any flickering. I will report back that if changes in later test.

Well I've got a show under my belt with 12.10. Overall a good experience. Some flickering when choosing from the file menu and and small freeze when opening advanced output.
