Resolume cannot see any input from either my webcam(with mic ) or my usb microphone as an External audio FFT input.
But it works from the built-in mic. I need the Mic to be far from my laptop .
I tried with Soundflower as an aggregate device ... no chance there.
Anyone had this problem ??
External Audio FFT Input // usb microphone
Re: External Audio FFT Input // usb microphone
i have the opposite problem.
my built-in mic doesn't work.
(i mean the one which is hidden somewhere in a laptop keyboard, not the 3.5 input)
it works perfectly in skype.
i have reinstalled my audio drivers and resolume arena as well,
and i definitely remember it worked on my previous laptop with resolume 2.4)) what can be the problem?

Re: External Audio FFT Input // usb microphone
I have the same problem as kudr86. When I try to do an audio analysis fft in resolume 4 avenue or arena nothing happens. But when I try to do the same in resolume 2.41 everything works perfectly. Anyone has an explanation about this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Please Help.

Re: External Audio FFT Input // usb microphone
I have a method I used to overcome this bug using mac.
Access audio and midi settings ->
Create an aggregate device ->
the list of aggregate created, enable integrated input + USB audio device ->
(see you now have 3 channels of audio)
start resolume arena and go to preferences,
enable the aggregate device you have audio modulations.
hope that helps

As Solution for the Off Topic " Build in Mic"
Play around with the Buffer Size / Sample Rate it worked on my laptop after some changes there

You just saved my day! Thanks a lot - works perfectly, although I'd only use it as a temporarily workarounds. Thank you so much! ^^charlesmartins wrote:I have a method I used to overcome this bug using mac.
Re: External Audio FFT Input // usb microphone
Although I'm late to the discussion, just wanted to say thanks to Charles (charlesmartins) as well.
The hack worked for me too and saved the day. Cheers!
