Is this setup possible without a capture card?
There is a 800x384 pixel LED wall and a 1920 x 96 LED wall both of which will display the same content throughout. Now normally this is not a problem as i can connect my PC running resolume through a splitter to the LED video processors.
However this particular 1920x96 LED wall , due to LED sending card constraints has been connected using a Matrox Dual Head2Go. So basically there is a video processor driving the 800x 384 led wall and two separate video processors driving the two 960 x 96 led wall ( but effectively a single 1920 x 96 led wall).
As the matrox input signal needs to come from the PC running resolume, i cannot use a splitter.
Is this setup possible without having to use a capture card?

Maybe I understand you wrong because of my mud-english...so correct me.
In my opinion you can handle this setup with one 1024x768 output from your VJ-Computer and one 1<3 splitter.
Combine the 960x96px strip and the 800x384px wall into one 1024x768px composition. Split your output into 3 signals and feed these ledcontrollers. + Pixelmapping.

Re: Is this setup possible without a capture card?
The led processors running the two 960 x 96 led walls have the output of the matrox dual head 2go as their input. So basically the first 960x 96 led wall shows the first half of the image and the second 960x96 led wall shows the second half of the image. Since the two 960x96 led walls are connected via the matrox i have to keep the matrox connected to the vj computer.
I'm sorry but i didn't quite understand the Combining the 960x96px strip and the 800x384px wall into one 1024x768px composition

your composition needs to be 960x576 if you can use the workflow cosmo has mentioned
800x384 on the upper composition half (you simple need to position and crop the layers so that it fits your needs)
and under this 2 960x96 stripes...
you can also arrange it side by side but you would need 2720x384 pixels... which makes nearly no sense.. expect that the compostion effects may work better (and you need a more gpu performance)..
as long as you don't need composition effects (just use layer effects/effect-layers instead) this should do the work...
the output to the different screens you manage via advanved output...
if you want to play content over the whole three screens... you can try to prerender the clips you want...
OR (if your setup has enough power and the LED-Screens are arranged like this)
you use an larger composition like i would say (if the gaps lets say are in this case 200 pixels) you have 2120(960+200+960) x 680 (384+200+96) and only use the parts of the composition on the output-screens
a second pc playing one of the parts makes only sense if you want to use more inputs specific inputs.

Re: Is this setup possible without a capture card?
thx HerrNieDa...that was exactly what I ment. Except of including two stripes into the composition, because he wrote that these two stripes are showing the same content..so one stripe should do the job
