Arena locks camera

Hello everyone =)

I've a problem when I use Resolume Arena5 in combination with other applications that Arena locks the camera and I can't use it within other applications.

Use case:
I have an application for tracking where i need the camera input.
I use Arena for the video output.
But when I start Arena, it locks all capture devices it can find in Sources and I can't use the camera within my other application. (I don't need the live camera feed within Arena)

Is there a way to restrict Arena to only use some, or none, Capture Devices?

try starting the other app before arena

I tried it, but it's more of a work around.
At the moment I have to restart the other app quite often... and this results in restarting arena also ...

Are you using a capture card or a USB camera?

and are you sure you aren't using that camera in a clip in arena?

that should not happen that arena would lock a camera source, unless it's in use in the deck.

And a camera clip is considered in use if it's present in the active deck even if it's not triggered.

Thanks for the answers so far. I played around and called the technical support of the camera, but I didn't get any further.

I'm using an IDS UI-3360CP USB3 Camera on Windows 7

Is there any possibility to turn of DirectShow inside Arena?
