No Sound Output From Any Audio Output device?

Hi All,

I have installed the latest two upgrades for Resolume Arena,
both of which are giving me issues with audio output.
I also recently upgraded to Mac OS 10.12 Sierra, and I am wondering if this is the real route of the problem.

I have been working on a project for a few weeks with no issues, and suddenly I lost sound output. This loss occurred at some point after updating my OS and updating resolume.

Now, I am not getting sound output when I play any of my media (video with audio, or audio .wav files)
I have checked all the volume levels on the composition, layer, and clip levels, and they are all normal.

I have tried playing audio outside of Resolume on other applications, all of which work as expected.

When I play a clip with audio I can see it metering in both the layer and the audio equalizer.

I have tried opening a new composition and still have the same issue.

I have a tour coming up in about a two weeks, and rehearsals next week, so I really need to get this resolved asap!

Any help would be much appreciated!

when you open preferences/audio you can choose an output device, have a look at that, maybe the device you used got renamed and has to be selected again.

I have switched between multiple output devices in the preferences. No luck.

have you checked composition volume setting, and also layer audio sliders?

Yes, all volumes on all layers, clips, and composition are up.

try moving/renaming the config.xml, so resolume can start with default settings.

no, but you should check the Preferences, that everything is set up as you need it to be.

The problem has returned!

I have attempted to remove the config.xml and Resolume is still not outputting audio.

Our show opens on Sunday. Need a solution ASAP!

What audio output/hardware are you using?

Have you tested with a headset?

Have you installed new drivers that could conflict with your audio drivers?

Do you see the audio meter moving in Resolume?
