I would appreciate getting some help on my problem with live feed in Resolume Arena 5. My setup looks like:
1 surveilance camera JVC, connected to Pinnacle USB capture card via composite cable (yellow video chinch cable), the capture card via USB to my computer. In Arena I get the live feed, it's not quite big (625 lines, PAL B, 720x576), but it's clear, nice colors, contrast, etc. When I output that live feed to my projector, the image gets very very bad - washed out colors, no contrast, whites are all lit up, there is no quality either in that image shown on the screen. I use a Casio XJ-H1700 projector, different projection screens (over the years), VGA connection from computer to projector. All other feeds from Arena are great quality and no problems at all. I tried changing the cameras, cables - no change at all. I tried recently the same setup, using a LCD monitor instead of the projector - I set the same resolution (1280 x 780) and the image is top quality (as good as it can be from such like a source
). I understand, that if I oversize the live feed (to that given resolution of my projector 1280x780) the image quality will drop, but it's very poor even if I leave the size of the output as original (720x576). Let me tell once again, that all other clips I output to that screen via the projector are throughout clear and very good quality. Am I missing something or am I doing something wrong?
