I just purchased the new Razer blade pro with the RTX2080.
I then heard that Resolume and Windows is having issues with the 2080.
During my 1st and perhaps last show using this laptop, I couldn't get the GPU to push past 28% with a frame rate hovering around 27-29 FPS. This frame rate didn't budge even though I had only 1 1080 DVX3 playing with no effects.
Thoughts?

FWIW, I have this exact same laptop, have followed every screenshot and suggestion in those threads, and am getting the same performance issues.Yuckfou157 wrote: Tue Aug 20, 2019 01:48 Hi, not wanting to be a bitching ass, the forum has a search

Re: Razer blade pro 17 with RTX2080
Here are screenshots of all my settings on Razer Blade Pro 17". You can see in the last one that despite "correct" settings, opening a Windowed Output on my GUI screen shows that Intel is rendering there. I believe this is why performance is getting crushed with any kind of external display hooked in.
I additionally tried setting the texture renderer to High Performance in NVidia settings, but that didn't make any impact on performance and caused the videos to stutter and look generally bad.

@yuckfou157 any ideas or suggestions?
@zoltan any other things to try here?
Edit: Nvidia driver 436.02, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit v1809, build 17763.678

Thank you for the straight up reply. I'm going to go back to the GTX 1080 that worked fine. I returned the Razer. So much for upgrading to the RTX.
