.I send data back and forth between Ableton and Resolume Arena 7.17 via MIDI and so far it works fine. What bugs me though, there seems to be no way to send out the playhead's exact position via MIDI when applying an envelope.
E.g: A Resolume Parameter is animated on BPM Sync and sends MIDI out to Ableton to drive an effect inside the DAW When I add an envelope curve in Resolume, the MIDI signal is not affected by the envelope. It's not possible to MIDI map the envelope in Resolume, but maybe there is a way to also send out MIDI CC data of the exact timeline position rather than only the overall loop?
